We are Cathy and Emma, the ‘dynamic duo’ behind Cruise Addicted. Both passionate about sharing information and inspiration for cruisers, although rarely sighted together! Our backgrounds in travel, business, photography, and writing give us a unique blend of skills and between us we’ve nearly 50 years experience of cruising - planning, booking, packing for, filming, writing about and enjoying cruises! Our primary focus lies in showcasing the essence of cruise experiences and ships through our website and YouTube channel. Recognising the importance of delivering valuable insights to our audience, we rarely feature in videos ourselves, ensuring the spotlight remains on the ship. Based on the Isle of Wight, Emma, a proficient photographer and videographer, contributes her 17 years of travel agent experience to our collective knowledge. Her unique perspective is enriched by personal ties, including her son's current role as a Third Officer with Cunard. Cathy, situated in Kent, is the author of a series of Cruise Planners and books. Cathy particularly enjoys repositioning cruises but recently became a convert to Multi Gen cruising when introducing her 9-month-old granddaughter to the joys of life onboard. Our dedicated Facebook community of 16,000 experienced cruisers is a dynamic platform sharing insights, experiences, and expert perspectives. This primarily comprises females aged 35-65, predominantly located in the UK, Australia, Canada, and the USA. Seeking inspiration and information on both ocean and river cruising in Europe, our engaged members form a useful targeted demographic for cruise lines and travel agencies.
