UK & Ireland Membership Types

To access CLIA’s online cruise training and trade resources, agents must create and activate their own individual profile. This requires being part of a CLIA-member agency, or as an Independent agent, you have set up your Homeworker Agency membership first.

Colleges or universities offering Travel and Tourism courses can join CLIA’s ALPHA Membership, which includes up to 50 activated student profiles.

Standard Agency
£395 + VAT (12 months)

Up to 10 individual profiles can be activated

This category applies to any agency with a physical business address – including both High Street agencies or larger Call-centre style business premises.

Homeworker Agency
£170 + VAT (12 months)

Up to 2 individual profiles can be activated

This category applies to any agency based at home, with no separate business address. If both individual profiles are being activated, both individuals must be working together from the same home address, as the same business franchise.

Alpha
£590 + VAT (12 months)

Up to 50 individual profiles can be activated

This category applies to College or University Programmes.

Membership Payments

    Membership runs from 1st January for 12 months, so new Agency memberships made throughout the year will be subject to pro-rata membership terms to bring you in line with this.

    • New membership applications from 1st April onwards each year will be eligible for a discount on the 12 month rate.
    • New membership applications from 1st July onwards each year will be eligible for a further discount on the 12 month rate.

    Members have the option to select whether to pay online by credit card at the time of registration, or to pay later by BACS (bank transfer) on the receipt of an invoice.

    • If opting to pay later by BACS, please note that after completing your order, you can get a copy of your Invoice emailed to you via your “My Orders” page
    • Members opting to pay later by BACS can also complete the payment by card via the ‘Pay off order page

    If you opted to pay online by credit card, following payment you should receive an automated email to confirm your Agency membership. We then encourage you and your colleagues to make use of the individual profiles you are able to activate as included within your Membership.

    Please note that if you requested an invoice, we would ask you to send remittance advice on email to [email protected] following payment. Your account will then be activated manually and we will advise when it is possible to proceed with activating your individual profile/s.

    New Agencies will receive a Welcome email, containing important information to ensure they can make the most of all CLIA membership benefits.

    Should you wish to cancel your CLIA Agency Membership at any point during the pre-paid 12 months of membership, no refunds are applicable unless the below cancellation terms as specified in the Refund Policy are met.

      We understand that some agencies with larger teams may require more than the 10 individual profiles extended to the Standard Membership category. Please contact us at [email protected] to discuss your requirements.

      We work in collaboration with a number of agency consortia groups, and as part of your Agency membership application, you have the opportunity to select this and access a discount on your membership.

      Any Agency members of Hays Travel Personal Travel Consultants (UK), Hays Premier and Hays Explorer are invited to contact [email protected] to arrange CLIA membership.

      We understand that many of our Agency Members have their CLIA membership arranged through their Head Office. If this is the case, please contact us at [email protected] to confirm the process for your Agency’s membership.

      Should you be looking to enrol a larger group of travel agencies, we would welcome you to get in touch for a discounted group rate. Please do not complete the online application, and instead contact us at [email protected] to discuss how we can help.

      Yes – just as with a Standard Agency Membership, following the creation and payment of your Homeworking Agency Membership, you are invited to activate your own individual profile. The first stage of this will ask you to affiliate with the new Homeworking Agency Membership you have just created and paid for.

      Should any applicant for CLIA Agency Membership realise that it is not appropriate for their business and wish to receive a refund, please apply in writing to within 14 days of receiving your membership details.
